Reading Cooperative Donates to Wilmington Education Foundation

Reading Cooperative Donates to Wilmington Education Foundation as part of Dress Down Days

Wilmington, MA - Reading Cooperative Bank employees recently made a donation to the Wilmington Education Foundation as part of their Dress Down for Charity Day. Once a month, RCB employees are invited to “dress down” in exchange for a contribution to a deserving organization. Their contributions are then matched by The Reading Cooperative Charitable Foundation.

The Wilmington Education Foundation was established in 1994 and their mission is, “The pursuit of excellence in education through the development and distribution of private resources to benefit and further enrich students of the Wilmington School District.” Since its establishment the Foundation has raised over $150,000. In recent years, a large portion of the funds have been invested in supporting the district through annual Technology Grants.
