Resident Raises $36K to Help Find Cure for Alzheimer’s

Resident Dennis Marasca Jr. will participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s this Sunday in honor of his mother Elaine. This is his fourth year walking, and along with his team, he has raised over $36,000 to date for the Alzheimer’s Association.

“The walk is a chance to get together with family and friends to raise awareness,” Marasca said. “It’s a chance to turn a negative situation into a positive in hopes of raising money for research to find a cure.”

Each year Marasca has a fundraising event to raise money. The event features dinner, a raffle and silent auction.
