School Building Project Progress Shared at Town Meeting

Secondary Schools Building Committee member Chuck Carucci presented school building project progress to Town Meeting Monday.

We are 14 months into the project, Carucci said. The project is still expected to be completed next September and it is still on budget. 

"We're on budget, we're on time and that's a good thing for us," Carucci said.

He warned residents that some digging will begin this week. The digging will allow for the team room to be built near the field, he said. 

He showed photos of the school, including pictures of the gymnasium that is two and a half times the size of the existing gym. The new auditorium is also larger than the current auditorium, and will seat 650.
