Tell us about your business and its history in your town.

Sparkles is a birthday party venue to celebrate your special day. We offer a choice of having a spa party, a painting party or a craft party. I have been here for seven years and have met some amazing people from around the area. I can’t wait to open the doors once this is over.

How has the new coronavirus impacted your business and its employees?

I usually have over 50 children that come to Sparkles each week, but given the severity of the situation, I chose to voluntarily shut down my business. As a mother of three children myself here in Andover, I would not want to endanger the health of any of my clients. Regardless, this has come at a great financial burden as I am still paying rent with no means of income and no immediate ability to vacate.

How can local customers support you now and in the future?

I have put together a craft to-go kit that can be picked up curbside at Sparkles. $10.00 for a Memo Board kit that will include everything you need for the project. Just let me know when you can pick up your kit and I’ll be there.

Do you have any words of encouragement for your community?

Stay safe. We will get through this.
