Trailer Released for Jennifer Lawrence Movie Filmed in North Reading
Watch the trailer for "Joy," opening in December. The film also stars Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro.
Last month we gave you a first look at the Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro movie “Joy,” which was shot on location in Wilmington, North Reading and other north shore towns over the winter and spring. Now the trailer for the movie has been released.

Directed by David O. Russell, the film starring Lawrence, Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro is set to open in theaters on Christmas Day. Other actors in the film include some other famous names including: Virginia Madsen, Diane Ladd, Edgar Ramirez, and Isabella Rossellini.
“Joy” is a rags-to-riches tale about Miracle Mop inventor Joy Mangano, a Long Island single mother of three children, who became a millionaire practically overnight after launching the product on QVC in 1991. Lawrence portrays Mangano who is a fixture on the Home Shopping Network with her many inventions, though the mop was her ticket to fame and fortune. She began her inventing as a teen and kept on dreaming and tinkering while still a single mom raising three kids.
