Veterans Day Ceremony Moved To Batchelder School
Residents asked to bring bells to honor Veterans with Bells of Peace.
The Town of North Reading will observe Veterans Day on Sunday, November 11th at 11 a.m. at the Batchelder School. Events had been planned for the Town Common but were moved indoors because of weather concerns.
The day starts at 11 a.m. with the ringing of the Bells of Peace. The bells honor and commemorate the 100 anniversary of the end of WWI.
