We Need More Women in Office

With Ruth Bader Ginsburg gone, we need women in office now more than ever.

“We’re here not as one-at-a-time curiosities. We are here to stay and in all our diversity.” - Ruth Bader Ginsburg

This year, we are living through a catastrophic event. We need women in office who have the perspective and urgency to get things done now and not 10 years from now. Too often, our state legislators drag their feet on urgent issues like the climate crisis, coronavirus and women’s healthcare. We can’t afford to have lazy legislators. With the state facing a budget deficit due to slow business and the Coronavirus restrictions, we need definitive, efficient and effective leadership.
Women who are elected to office defend other women’s rights.
Women are some of the most reliable progressive voices in Congress and State Houses across America.
Women get things done and they sponsor and pass more legislation than their male co-workers.
When we elect more women, we get a government that actually works and makes life better for women and families. That’s the opposite of what we have in 2020.
It’s time for men in office to step aside and let women lead.
When you head out to vote on Tuesday, remember that women’s lives are at stake. Families’ everyday lives are at stake.
Support women’s voices, defend the rights of your daughters and wives and aunties. Elect women on Tuesday. All the women in your life will thank you for it. And who knows, maybe they might even run for office one day.
