Where To Get The Coronavirus Vaccine in North Reading

Eligible residents ill be able to make an appointment and receive the Moderna vaccine this month at the Hillview Country Club.

NORTH READING, MA — North Reading is offering the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to eligible residents this month.

Phase Two of the state's vaccination plan started Monday by allowing anyone 75 or older to get vaccinated. They will be followed by people 65 and older, people in low-income and affordable senior housing and those with two medical conditions that put them at increased risk for severe illness.

The North Reading Health Department place an order on Jan. 25 for 100 COVID-19 vaccines for the first shot of Phase II priority group. According to the town, Phase II clinics will begin on or around the week of Feb. 15 based on vaccine availability.

How To Get The Vaccine

Starting at 9 a.m. on Feb 8 and continuing every Monday at 9 a.m. for the rest of the month, residents over 75 will be able to access a link on the health department website to register for an appointment for the COVID-19 vaccination.

Those who need help registering can call the Edith O’Leary Senior Center at 978-664-5600 for assistance registering online. The town warned that wait times may be long on the call line as many people are expected to register.

Where To Get The Vaccine

The first Phase II vaccination clinic is scheduled to be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Feb. 10 and every Tuesday and Thursday thereafter in February from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Hillview Country Club, 149 North Street, North Reading, Massachusetts 01864.

Mystic Valley Elder Services is offering free transportation services to adults 60 years and older to nearby COVID-19 vaccine sites. Masks will be required on trips. Rides may be arranged by calling Mystic Valley Elder Services at 781-324-7705.
