24-Unit Housing Development Proposed For South Peabody
The developers behind Stonegate are scheduled to present their proposal to the planning board on June 7.

PEABODY, MA -- A south Peabody neighborhood which has seen a building boom of housing units over the pat two decades may be getting even more. DiBiase Construction has submitted plans for Stonegate, a 24-unit subdivision in the area abutting Ralph Road, Pearl Road, Innis Road and Bartholomew Street, according to the Salem News, which first reported this story.
"That's probably the last parcel of land that could handle a subdivision of that size," Ward 1 City Councilor Jon Turco, who represents the neighborhood, told the newspaper. "It's an extremely congested area." The development is scheduled to go before the planning board on June 7.
