Peabody Home Sales and Median Value on the Rise: Report
According to website Itemlive.com, both single-family sales and median price increased 6 percent from January through June of 2015.

PEABODY, MA ā The real estate market in Peabody remains robust, as home sales and median price of residences have increased compared to this time last year, according to a report from Itemlive.com.
The website reported that both are up 6 percent compared to the first six months of 2015.
According to Itemlive.com, 164 single-family homes have been sold in Peabody from January to June of this year and the median price of residences is $380,000; last year, 155 homes had been sold and the median price was $359,974.

Peabody Mayor Edward Bettencourt reacted to the news on Twitter, where he called the housing market in the city "strong."
