Alumni Pizza To Return To Quincy: Report

QUINCY, MA — A Wollaston pizza institution is returning to Quincy. The news-based online journal Boston Restaurant Talk is reporting that The Alumni, which closed its Wollaston location seven years ago, will move into a new location on Washington Street.

The journal cited Quincy consultant and publicist Kerry J. Byrne in its report that The Alumni will move into the spot next to Rags Tavern that was the home of Quincy House of Pizza.

The Alumni Cafe had lived on Hancock Street in Wollaston from 1960 until its closure in 2013. A separate Alumni opened in Weymouth in 2016 under the same ownership as Rags Tavern and the new Alumni spot.
