Autism Awareness Seat Belts Available In Quincy
Quincy police have a limited amount of free seat belts to help alert first responders about a person with autism in an emergency.

QUINCY, MA — A limited amount of seat belts that can alert first reponders to those in a car with autism are available at the Quincy Police Department. The seat belts are courty of Norfolk County Sheriff Jerry P. McDermott's office.
The seat belt lets first responders known someone has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and may have trouble communicating, or may resist help, in an emergency. They can picked up at the Quincy police station while supplies last.
