Flooding Closes Quincy Shore Drive

QUINCY, MA — Road flooding closed Quincy Shore Drive at Bay State Road for much of rush hour Wednesday. State Police said the road closed around 4:40 p.m., causing traffic delays.

The Department of Conservation and Conservation's road crews were called to assist with the flooding and had the road reopened around 6 p.m. Traffic was slow when the street reopened as cars drove through several inches of water.
