Fried Chicken And Tea Shop Opening In Quincy

Wollaston is getting a place to get Taiwanese chicken and bubble tea with TKK Fried Chicken and Kung Fu Tea​ sharing a new restaurant.

QUINCY, MA — A Tawanese chicken chain is opening up its second United States location, and is teaming up with a bubble tea chain to do so. TKK Fried Chicken and Kung Fu Tea announced plans to open a shared restaurant in Quincy's Wollaston neighborhood, according to Easter Boston.

According to the post, TKK Fried Chicken first opened in Taiwan in 1974, and currently only has one location in the U.S., in New York City. The Taiwanese chain has plans to expand with the Quincy restaurant, as well as locations in Philadelphia and Texas. TKK chicken is known for its fried chicken, wings, tenders, and sandwiches, while Kung Fu Tea will offer its classic tea, milk tea, slushes, and yogurts.

The joint restaurant will be located at 1 Beale St. An opening date has yet to be released.
