Grumpy White's Restaurant In Quincy Closes After 40 Years
The restaurant closed its doors permanently on Sunday.
QUINCY—Grumpy White's restaurant and pub, located at 211 Sea Street, closed for good on Sunday after 40 years of serving the Quincy community.
The New American restaurant confirmed the rumors on Monday with an announcement on their Facebook page. The announcement was met with many comments from customers, thanking the restaurant and sharing memories.
Owned by Vietnam War veteran Bob White since its opening in 1980, Grumpy White's was known for its family-friendly environment and comfort food, including sandwiches, burgers, and its famous macaroni and cheese. The restaurant was open seven days a week.
