Jersey Mike's Opens In Quincy

QUINCY, MA — Quincy is getting a new place to enjoy a steak and cheese or any other type of sub. National sub shop chain Jersey Mike's opened a restaurant in the city Tuesday and is getting people in the door by giving back to the Quincy community on day one.

The new restaurant, located at 479 Washington St., circulated 7,500 coupons throughout the community, offering a free regular sub for anyone who donates $3 or more to the athletics programs at Quincy High School.

Started in 1956, Jersey Mike’s now has 2,000 restaurants open. The Quincy location became the ninth sub shop in Massachusetts. The restaurant’s hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.
