Man Hospitalized Following Pedestrian Crash In Quincy

Police said the man is suffering from "serious injuries" after being hit by a vehicle on Beale St.

QUINCY, MA — Quincy police are investigating a pedestrian crash that took place Friday morning on Beale St.

The victim, age 69, was transported to BMC with serious injuries and remains in critical condition, said Quincy police in a Twitter post.

The driver of the vehicle involved is a Quincy resident, age 22, and remained at the scene of the crash, said police.

Beale St. from Chapman St. to Hancock St. was temporarily closed Friday as Quincy Police Department's Crash Reconstruction Unit investigated the scene.
