Now You Can Get A Personal Pan Pizza Infused With Medical Marijuana
Quincy-based medical marijuana dispensary Ermont announced Tuesday that they will now offer cannabis-infused pub-style cheese pizza.

QUINCY, MA — First there were brownies and gummies, and now you can get your marijuana inside a pizza.
Quincy-based medical marijuana dispensary Ermont announced Tuesday that they will now offer cannabis-infused pub-style cheese pizzas inspired by the South Shore’s legendary “bar pizza."
Each six-inch pizza is infused with a 125 mg dose of Ermont’s own THC. The pizzas are baked and frozen inside their in-house kitchen.

“We are pleased to offer a new, more appetizing way for our patients to alleviate pain and discomfort,” said Jack Hudson, CEO and Founder of Ermont in a release. “The combination of a food as popular as pizza with the medicinal benefits of marijuana represents an important milestone in the evolution of our high-quality marijuana-infused products menu.”
The cheese pizza was developed by Ermont’s edibles team, led by operations manager Seth Yaffe, cannabinoid infusion consultant Adam Gendreau, and chef Keith Brooks.

“The style of our infused pizza was inspired by what’s commonly known throughout the South Shore as ‘bar pizza’ – thin, crispy crust, well-done cheese, and tomato sauce spread to the edge of a metal pan,” said Brooks. “It was a delight to make, and it’s delicious.”
The pizza joins the company's menu of food offerings which includes chocolate bars, hot chocolate, lozenges, individual pies, lemonade, cookies, olive oil, hot sauce, mac and cheese, and muffins.
Like anything else with medical marijuana, the pizza is only available to Massachusetts residents with state-issued medical marijuana cards.
