Pedestrian Killed In Quincy Crash
Authorities said a 62-year-old man died when he was hit by a Jeep at the intersection of Newport Avenue and Oakland Avenue.
QUINCY, MA — A 62-year-old man died after getting hit by an SUV Saturday morning in Quincy, according to the Norfolk County District Attorney's office.
The crash happened around 1:50 a.m., at the intersection of Newport Avenue and Oakland Avenue. Officials said someone driving a Jeep struck the man.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have yet to release his identity.

Authorities said the two people inside the Jeep remained at the scene of the crash and spoke with police. Their identities haven't been released.
Officials didn't say if charges would be filed. Any witnesses with information are asked to call Quincy police at 617-479-1212.
