Police Respond To Violent Fight In Quincy
Investigators say a victim is suffering from head injuries after being pistol whipped.
QUINCY, MA — One person is suffering from head injuries following a violent fight in Quincy Wednesday evening, said the Quincy Police Department in a Twitter post.
Officers responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a fight in progress at 291 Newport Avenue, said police.
Investigators say that the victim was pistol whipped during the fight and has a laceration to the head. Although the gun was discharged during the assault, police say it does not appear that anyone was hit by the bullet.
