Paintball Smoke Device Evacuates North Quincy High
According to police, the "smoke device" was a canister used in paintball​, but it was empty.

QUINCY, MA — Police searched North Quincy High School after a "smoke device" was found in the library, Monday.
The school was evacuated after the device was discovered around 10:30 a.m., Superintendent Richard DeCristofaro told WATD. There were no injuries, he said.
According to police, the "smoke device" was a canister used in paintball, but it was empty, the Patriot Ledger reported. As of 1 p.m., Monday, police were still sweeping the school, but DeCristafaro told the Patriot Ledger there was no real threat to students or the faculty.

School officials told WATD that classes will resume tomorrow as scheduled.
