Quincy Adams Independence Avenue Entrance Reopened
Anyone living in Penn's Hill was forced to walk over a mile around the station to another entrance. That walk is no longer necessary.

QUINCY, MA — The walkway leading from Independence Avenue to the Quincy Adams MBTA Station reopened on Monday, reconnecting the neighborhood to a more direct path to the station.
The path hasn't been open since the 1980s when residents living in the Penn’s Hill neighborhood complained about traffic and lack of parking.
Flash forward three decades, and people's concerns are different. According to an MBTA press release, anyone living in Penn's Hill was forced to walk over a mile around the station to another entrance.
