Quincy Dunkin' Donuts Testing Donuts-Less Name

The home to the first Dunkin' Donuts will now be one of the first to have the donut-less name.

QUINCY, MA — The home of the first Dunkin' Donuts now may be home to one of the first Dunkies without the donuts in the name.

The company recently revealed plans to construct a new location at the site of the former Wild Willy's on Route 3A, just before the Fore River Bridge. Tuesday night, the Quincy Zoning Board gave the ok for the old building on the property to come down.

A mock up of the building posted by the Patriot Ledger shows the DD logo, but only Dunkin' as the name on the building.
