Quincy Farmer's Market Officially Open At New Location

The market will open a week early to celebrate its 40th year.

QUINCY, MA — The Quincy Farmer's Market is now open, a week early in its new location, as announced in a tweet.

The market will be open from noon to 5 p.m. every Friday through Oct 29.

The popular farmer's market is returning to the downtown area in Kilroy Square at 25 Cottage Avenue, next to the Four's Restaurant.

In the heart of downtown Quincy, the market is still close to its original location, where parking is available in the abutting garage at $1 per hour, and bike racks are also offered.

The Quincy Farmers Market traditionally opens on the last Friday of June and runs until the last Friday before Thanksgiving, but this year they opened one week early to synch with the opening of the Milton Farmers Market Thursday.
