Quincy Man Left Bag Full of Drugs, Loaded Gun In MBTA Station

The man was taken into custody based on probable cause since he was the owner of the found bag.

QUINCY, MA — A Quincy man was arrested and is facing several charges including drug possession and possession of an illegal firearm. Transit Police found a bag filled with drugs and cash in the JFK Red Line Station on Aug. 29 and traced it back to the 35-year-old Quincy man.

The bag had cash, drugs, drug paraphernalia and a loaded gun inside it. Transit Police detectives determined who owned the bag and took the Quincy man into custody based on probable cause.

While the man was arrested, police found cocaine, marijuana and cash. He was charged with Trafficking a Class B Substance, Possession of Class D with the intent to Distribute, Conspiracy to violate the Drug laws, Illegal Possession of a Firearm and Illegal Possession of Ammunition.
