Quincy Police Identify Eldery Woman Killed In Crash

An 80-year-old Quincy woman died after being hit by a car in Quincy police said.

QUINCY, MA — Authorities have identified the elderly pedestrian that died after being struck by a car in Quincy Friday. Julie Fisher, 80, of Quincy, died at South Shore Hospital, according to police.

Around 1 p.m., emergency officials were called to the area of South Street and Southern Artery after Fisher was struck by someone driving a Subaru Forester.

Police said the pedestrian was not in a crosswalk when the crash happened. The driver, a 73-year-old Quincy man, was taken to Quincy Medical Center with minor injuries.
