Quincy Rings In Season With Christmas Parade, Restricted Parking
Quincy police advise of parking restrictions and street detours for the 67th annual Christmas Parade on Dec. 1.
QUINCY, MA — The 67th annual Quincy Christmas Parade will include plenty of holiday spirit, yuletide cheer, floats, music and Santa. It will also include plenty of parking restrictions downtown that will result in any violators being towed.
Quincy police advised of the restrictions that will take place in the morning leading up to and during the parade that kicks off at the corner of Walter Hannon Parkway and Hancock Street on Dec. 1 at 12:30 p.m. The parade runs north on Hancock Street to North Quincy High School with road closures and delays on side streets that feed into Hancock Street.
Temporary "No Parking" signs will be posted with those in violation subject to towing. The Ross Lot in the new parking garage on Cottage Avenue will be open for parking and has a walkway from the lot to the parade route on Hancock Street.
