Quincy Under Flood Watch Monday Afternoon
Expect slow driving, high winds, and lots of rain Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning.

QUINCY, MA — It could be a wet commute home Monday afternoon and evening, according to the latest National Weather Service forecast.
The NWS has issued a Flash Flood Watch for Quincy, effective Monday afternoon from 1 p.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday morning. Heavy rain is expected during this period and most areas can expect between 2-3 inches of rain.
On the wind front, the NWS says to expect winds of 22-25 mph with gusts of up to 50 mph Monday night. The wind is expected to continue into Tuesday with a speed of 10-17 mph and gusts as high as 48 mph.

Drivers should expect slower than usual communes Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning. The NWS warns drivers to never drive through a flooded roadway.
