Restaurant Bans Quincy Cop, Woman Over Face Mask Tantrum
"This horrible woman is not forgivable!" the restaurant's co-owner owner wrote on Facebook.

MARSHFIELD, MA — Two people, including a police officer from Quincy, are banned from returning to the Ming Dynasty restaurant in Marshfield after a disagreement over face masks and alcohol service turned physical.
Lei Yan, who co-owns Ming Dynasty, shared security camera footage of the incident on Facebook, which she said began when the group of five people refused to wear masks inside the restaurant.
She later told NBC 10 Boston that two people in the group became belligerent when they were denied alcohol because they appeared to be drunk.

According to the report, some of the customers then began yelling and restaurant co-owner James Tian called 911. While he was making the call, the woman approached the counter and began knocking over protective dividers.
As woman pushes over items on a counter, a man behind her can be seen holding what Yan later described as a document identifying him as a police officer. The officer reportedly told restaurant employees not to touch or try to stop the woman during the incident, according to the Patriot Ledger.

In the post, Yan wrote, "Don’t put your hands on my husband and destroying my restaurant. This horrible woman is not forgivable! God is watching."
WCVB reports the man involved in the incident is a police officer in nearby Quincy. An investigation has been launched into the actions of the officer, who was off duty at the time.
Ming Dynasty was shut down for a day last month for violations of state COVID-19 regulations, The Patriot Letter reports. Now, the restaurant requires masks and has signage on the front door stating "Do not open door without a mask!!"
Yan is not pressing charges, but she told Boston's NBC station that she wants the officer to be "serious about who he is."
No one was arrested at the scene.
