Snow Emergency In Quincy: What You Need To Know
See which streets are considered emergency arteries, that you shouldn't park on during a snowstorm.

QUINCY, MA — Massachusetts could be getting up to a feet of snow, according to weather forecasters. With that in mind, here's everything you need to know before the storm hits Quincy. We'll update this story with cancellations as we hear of them, but, in the meantime, keep the following in mind:
A Snow emergency was declared on Saturday at 7 p.m. Residents may park on the even numbered side of non-emergency neighborhood streets, but should always park in driveways if available. Parking is prohibited on all designated emergency roads. A complete list of emergency arteries can be found on this list. Residents on side streets posted permanently as one-side parking should park on the allowed side, police said. Cars parked in violation of emergency rules or impeding snow plows will be towed.
