South Shore Children's Chorus Welcomes New Singers!
No audition required for new singers to join the fastest-growing music organization in the south shore, located right in Quincy!
Do you have a child at home who loves to sing? The South Shore Children's Chorus serves almost 100 singers from over 15 different communities. There is no audition to join - your child is welcome from the first step into rehearsal!
Quincy native Kirsten (Shetler) Oberoi founded SSCC in January of 2016, and alongside her staff of all south shore music educators, continues to grow the organization rapidly. The mission of the organization is to provide high quality music education in an open and welcoming environment for singers of all ages and ability levels. SSCC has three different ensembles: Training Choir for Kindergarten - 3rd Grade Singers, Intermediate Choir for 4th - 7th Grade Singers, and Advanced Choir for 8th - 12th Grade Singers. This year, SSCC has outreached to include two different rehearsal sites: in Quincy and Sharon MA. Need-based Tuition Assistance is available for those who apply.

SSCC Open Rehearsals: Quincy Rehearsal Site (Quincy Point Congregational Church)
Training Choir (K-3rd Grade) - Wednesday 9/12 & 9/19 from 5-6pm
Intermediate Choir (4th-7th Grade) - Wednesday 9/12 & 9/19 from 5:30-6:30pm
Advanced Choir (8th-12th Grade) - Sunday 9/16 & 9/23 from 5:45-7:30pm
