South Shore Medical Center To Open In Quincy's Center
The new center will offer focus on primary care, with on-site lab and radiology services and is located in the heart of new Quincy Center.
QUINCY, MA — The new South Shore Medical Center is set to open in Quincy on Tuesday. The modern facility will be located in the heart of Quincy Center, on Hancock Street.
"We're proud to be a part of this area's incredible transformation," states the South Shore Health website. "Our Quincy office offers a pleasant, personal and professional atmosphere where you'll feel comfortable the moment you walk through our doors."
The new center will include on-site laboratory and radiology, offering services in areas including internal medicine, family medicine, and obstetrics and gynecology.

It will be located in the the new Quincy Center, a revitalization effort that includes more than 50 acres of mixed-use development, with housing, restaurants, retail and more.
The Patriot Ledger has reported that the new $2.7 million medical office in Quincy will focus on primary care and is part of the expansion of South Shore Medical Center, anchored around South Shore Hospital. A ribbon cutting for Quincy's new center was held Thursday.

Quincy's South Shore Medical Center is located at 1495 Hancock St. Construction in the area is ongoing, and the center asks that its patients plan to arrive a bit early for appointments, as it may take longer to park in upcoming weeks. The medical center's officials have asked to use public transportation whenever possible. The center is located a five- to 10-minute walk away from Quincy Center station.
The phone number for the center is 781-878-5200. It will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and closed Saturday and Sunday.
