What's Open, Closed On Christmas Day In Quincy

QUINCY, MA — City offices in Quincy close for the Christmas holiday and do not reopen until Wednesday, Dec. 26.

With the exception of Christmas Eve, all curbside trash and recycling pickup is delayed one day during the week of Christmas. City Hall will also be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 1 for New Year's Day. Curbside trash and recycling pickup will be delayed one day during the week of Jan. 1, with the exception of Monday, New Year's Eve, which keeps its regular schedule.

  • Post Office: Closed
  • Restaurants: Open at owner's discretion
  • Retail stores: Open at owner's discretion

  • Gas stations: Open

The MBTA will be running on a Sunday schedule on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
