What's Open, Closed On New Year's Day In Quincy

Find out what's opening and what's keeping its doors closed on the first day of 2018.

QUINCY, MA — Quincy City Hall be closed for the long weekend and reopen Jan. 2. Curbside trash and recycling pickup will be delayed one day during the week of January 1.

Schools will reopen on Tuesday, January 2.

  • Post Office: Closed
  • Restaurants: Open at owner's discretion
  • Retail stores: Open at owner's discretion

  • Liquor stores: Open
  • Banks: Closed
  • Gas stations: Open
  • Movie theaters: Open

The MBTA will be running an altered schedule on New Year's Eve and on a Sunday schedule on New Year's Day.
