Absentee Voting Expanded For Reading Town Election
Here's how to vote by mail in the April 6 election.
READING, MA — Absentee voting has been expanded for the April 6 Town Election, as state law now clarifies that any person taking precautions related to COVID-19 qualifies by reason of physical disability.
To vote by mail, send the Elections office a vote-by-mail application as soon as possible, and the office will send you a ballot. You can then mail the completed ballot back in or drop it in the drop box at Town Hall.
The deadline to request a vote-by-mail or absentee ballot to be mailed is 5 p.m. on March 31.
