Chamber Postpones Annual Meeting

With the arrival of our latest snow storm, the Reading North Reading Chamber of Commerce annual meeting has been postponed and will now be held Wed., March 28, at Teresa's Prime in North Reading. The meeting will run from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. And a hot breakfast will be served.

The 2018 Annual Meeting Breakfast is a great way to connect with local business leaders and meet our Board of Directors. This year the Chamber is hosting Christine Madigan, Vice President Responsible Leadership at New Balance as our keynote speaker.

New Balance is a unique global brand, based in Boston and is the only major sneaker brand to maintain manufacturing in the US at their factories in MA and ME. Christine will share insights about employee engagement and the importance of creating a positive work culture as well as stories from her 15 year career managing the marketing and brand management and internal communications at New Balance. New Balance Athletics is a 112 year old private footwear and apparel company with brand revenues over $4 Billion in 2017 and deeply held values. Christine's culture insights apply to a business of any size, whether you are a consultant, have 4 employees or hundreds. Come join us for a hot breakfast, an inspiring speaker and an overview of our vision for 2018.

We will also be collecting canned goods and non perishable food (peanut butter, pancake mix etc) for the Reading and North Reading Food banks whose supplies are running low.

Tickets are $25 for members, $30 for non-members.
