Dense Fog, Widespread Rain Thursday Afternoon in North Reading

North Reading, MA - If you are going to be out and about this afternoon and tonight you’re going to have to contend with both dense fog and widespread rainfall.

Drivers traveling this afternoon and evening should be prepared for poor visibility and allow for extra time during the evening rush hour.

The National Weather Service says areas of fog are expected to develop Thursday afternoon and evening. Some of this fog will become locally dense reducing visibility to one quarter of a mile or less at times.

Additionally, widespread rain will be spreading across the region Thursday afternoon and evening.
