Knife-Wielding Masked Robber Hits Tedeschi's in North Reading

A masked robber wielding a knife took cash from the Tedeschi's Food Store at 202 North St. in North Reading on Sunday night, according to a press release from the North Reading Police Department.

The robbery occured just before 11 p.m., according to the release. An undisclosed amount of money was taken by the robber, who was described as a tall man, approximately 6 feet tall with large frame and wide shoulders. 

A K-9 from Billerica Police was called to the scene and assisted, police said in the release. No injuries were reported.

The investigation remains open.
