Memorial Day Parade 2016 To Be Held In Reading
The parade route will make stops at local cemeteries.
The annual Memorial Day parade in Reading will be held on Monday, May 30th beginning at 9 a.m. to honor all those that have died in service to our country and to honor those who have served and continue to serve America.
The parade will begin at the American Legion on Ash St. at 9 a.m. All veterans are welcomed and encouraged to participate. Services will then move to Laurel Hill Cemetery at 9:15 a.m. At 10:45 a.m., services at Forest Glen Cemetery will begin. At 11:30 a.m., services will begin at Charles Lawn Cemetery. The Memorial Day services will conclude at Wood End Cemetery at noon.
Any veteran that may be unable to walk the distance from the American Legion to Laurel Hill Cemetery should call VSO Kevin Bohmiller at (781) 942-6652.
