Monday Essentials: Free Exercise Classes to Keep You Fit

Did you enjoy the weekend? Now that it's Monday, here are some events planned in town throughout the week to fit into your schedule.

Monday, August 19: Free TRX Class

Stop by the Burbank YMCA for a free TRX class at 5:30 p.m. TRX is a method of leveraged bodyweight exercise where you build power, strength, flexibility and balance. Reserve your spot online at ymcaboston.org/schedules.

Tuesday, August 20: Free Yoga Class

Take a free Yoga class at the Burbank YMCA at 9:30 a.m. Relax, burn calories and work on flexibility all at the same time. Reserve your spot online at ymcaboston.org/schedules.

Wednesday, August 21: Freshman Orientation

Reading Memorial High School's Class of 2017 is invited to Freshman Orientation at 1 p.m. Freshmen will hear from the administration, faculty and class officers; see their homerooms, lockers and schedules; have their pictures taken for I.D. cards; and get a tour of the building. Students can meet their classmates, eat ice cream served by upperclassmen and learn about school-related activities.

Thursday, August 22: Free Group Cycling

Enjoy the free group cycling class at the Burbank YMCA at 6:30 p.m. Work on your cardio and burn calories at this fun class. Reserve your spot online at ymcaboston.org/schedules.
