Parker Middle Principal to Stay in Reading

Starting July 1, Anna Nolin will be Natick Public Schools' new Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment. Nolin, who is currently the principal at Wilson Middle School, was one of two finalists for the position. She was up against Parker Middle School Principal Douglas Lyons.

"It was a difficult decision because Doug Lyons was an excellent candidate in his own right," Sanchioni said. "But she has shown herself to be an excellent candidate by undertaking district-wide initiatives. She has shown that she can communicate effectively and has a handle on coordinating with the administrators in the system."

Current Assistant Superintendent Karen LeDuc will be leaving the district in July to work for the Dover-Sherborn Schools.
