Parker Principal is Finalist for Natick Assistant Superintendent

The process is nearly done for the Natick School Department to select an assistant superintendent, and the principal of the Parker Middle School is one of the two finalists.

According to Marianne Davis, Director of Human Resources for the Natick School Department, Superintendent Peter Sanchioni said he hopes to make a decision this week.

The two candidates, Anna Nolin and Douglas Lyons, each had half an hour to spend answering questions for the 50 residents that gathered for a public forum Thursday night.

Lyons is principal at the Walter Parker Middle School in Reading. Nolan is currently the principal at Wilson Elementary School in Natick. 

Current assistant superintendent Karen LeDuc is going to the Dover-Sherborn School system.

Sanchioni will make a recommendation to the School Committee this week.
