In the latest police log from Monday, June 29, Reading Police reported a person was arrested operating a vehicle while their right to do so was suspended and a suspicious backpack was found at the Killam School.

At 4:06 a.m., Reading Police reported an officer came across a suspicious backpack against the entrace of the Killam School, located at 333 Charles St.

At 7:01 a.m., a resident was reportedly concerned over a dark SUV circling the block in the Shackford Road area.

At 7:27 a.m., police were notified of a of a deceased raccoon at 25 Walkers Brook Drive and Stop & Shop.

At 9:49 a.m., police reported an elderly woman dialed 9-1-1 searching for a friend.

At 2:13 p.m., a minor motor vehicle occurred in the area of Main Street and Ash Street, police said. No injuries were reported.

At 3:11 p.m., police received a suspicious persons report of a male with two young girls sitting in grass in the area of Salem Street and Cumberland Farms.

At 6:46 p.m., a woman reported an unwanted guest to Reading Police after her ex-husband entered her residence.

At 9:32 p.m., Reading Police reported one person was arrested on Walked Brook Drive for operation a motor vehicle while their right to do so was suspended.
