Reading 2021 Town Election Voter's Guide
Here's what you need to know if you're heading to the polls April 6.

READING, MA — Reading voters will head to the polls Tuesday, April 6 for the 2021 Town Election.
There are contested races for Select Board, School Committee, Municipal Light Board, Board of Library Trustees and Town Meeting. Voting is a bit different this year thanks to rules approved to expand early and mail-in voting in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

Where To Vote
Polls in Massachusetts are open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Voting is done in Reading at Reading Memorial High School, 62 Oakland Rd. You can also use the Secretary of State's website to find your polling place.
Vote-By-Mail
Absentee voting was expanded for the April 6 Town Election, as state law clarifies that any person taking precautions related to COVID-19 qualifies by reason of physical disability.
The deadline to request a vote-by-mail or absentee ballot to be mailed was 5 p.m. March 31. Ballots may be returned via U.S. Mail or in the drop box at Town Hall.
