Reading Community Band to perform Around The World in 80 Minutes

Come and hear the Music of This Sphere

The Reading Community Concert Band performs their Fall concert on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 3:00pm. Director/Conductor Stephen Bloom has assembled 80 minutes of music from around the globe to create a sonic tapestry of our planet. The concert takes place in the main sanctuary of the First Congregational Church, UCC, at 25 Woburn Street. Parking is on Sanborn Street, or the Town Hall parking lot, off Lowell Street. Admission at the door will be $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors. Children 8 years of age or younger admitted free.

The Reading Community Concert Band is a non-profit 36-piece symphonic wind ensemble, whose volunteer musicians come from all across Middlesex and the north shore. The group continues to grow, and seeks more volunteers for the start of their Holidays concert cycle. RCCB will be playing next on Saturday, December 7 at the Reading Education Foundation’s Festival Of Trees; (readingef.org/ref) And again on Sunday, December 15, at 3:00.
