Reading Cumberland Farms Worker Tests Positive For Coronavirus
The store closed Monday night to be cleaned and sanitized.

READING, MA — An employee at Cumberland Farms in Reading recently tested positive for the coronavirus, the chain said Tuesday. The store was closed at 10 p.m. Monday to be cleaned and sanitized by an industrial cleaning crew.
Cumberland Farms plans to reopen the store in the next few days. It says it is taking all appropriate steps following guidance from Reading health officials.
"We are grateful to all our customers for your patience and understanding during this time," Cumberland Farms said in a statement. "All Team Members that work at these stores have been contacted and advised to follow CDC-recommended guidelines."
