Reading Lions Club Hosts Annual Friends And Family Day

The event will be held on June 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Reading Lions Club will host its 13th annual Reading Friends and Family Day on June 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Birch Meadow Field at Birch Meadow Elementary at 27 Arthur B. Lord Dr. in Reading.

The Reading Lions Club has sponsored the event every year since 2004. The Reading Friends and Family Day is Reading’s annual start of summer celebration, as there will be food, crafts, games, giveaways, and family friendly entertainment. There will also be a fun run for children in the morning and the Friends of Reading Recreation will provide fireworks for the evening.

The event also gives the community the opportunity to learn more about local organizations, agencies, and business in the local area.
