Reading Rec's First Summer Concert On The Common Is Sunday
Jumpin' Juba starts off summer concert series.
READING, Ma. - How do you feel about a little classic Boogie-Woogie, Blues, Folk and Memphis Rock & Roll? If your answer is "sign me up" then head over to the Reading Town Hall Common Sunday for the first of five summer concerts sponsored by Reading Recreation.
To start things off, it's the group Jumpin' Juba with their unique mix of sounds. Like all the concerts, it gets underway at 6 p.m. and runs until 7:30 p.m. There is no charge. In coming weeks Steve Savio, Cold Chocolate, Working Man's Band, and Hot Club on New England will perform.
These free concerts are held on Sunday evenings at Reading Town Hall Common (Front Lawn). Park in the Town Hall parking lot for these free Sunday evening concerts.

There are no rain dates for the "Concerts on the Common" Family Concerts. For information regarding weather cancellations, visit the Reading Recreation home page at www.readingrec.com after 5 p.m. on the day of the concert. Cancellation notices will be posted as close to 5 p.m. as possible but understand that a last-minute cancellation could happen.
