Reading Town Meetings To Discuss Budget Will Be Held In June
There will be three town meetings during the month to discuss the issue.

Reading will host the first of three meetings on June 1 at 7 p.m. at Coolidge Middle School at 89 Birch Meadow Dr. Town Manager Bob LeLaceur will discuss Reading’s financial challenges and will answer questions and take input from the public.
The Town Manager is attempting to take a proactive approach by inviting the Reading community to discuss the increasing pressures on present resources. Now that the town has approved the fiscal budget for 2017, the Town Manager, Board of Selectman, and the Finance Committee will discuss constraints facing Reading for the fiscal year 2018.
Future meetings will held on June 7 at 1 p.m. at the Pleasant Street Center at 49 Pleasant St., and on June 16 at 7 p.m. at the Parker Middle School at 45 Temple St.

Town officials are strongly encouraging the public to attend at least one of these meetings to share their ideas, opinions, and concerns.
