RMHS Drama Club Announces 2018-2019 Season - Fall Show Mamma Mia!
Season includes mix of musicals, comedies, drama and one show directed by an RMHS senior

This morning, the Reading Memorial High School (RMHS) Drama Club announced details on its 2018-2019 season:
- Mamma Mia!: This well-known musical was written by British playwright Catherine Johnson, based on the songs of ABBA. Performances will run Nov. 9-11 and Nov. 16-18, 2018.
- Selfie: This contemporary play by Bradley Hayward features a group of high school seniors facing bullies, parents and other teenage pressures. Directed by RMHS senior Ryan Norton, show performances will run February 8-9, 2019.
- The Chronicles of Jane, Book 7: This short comedy by Alan Haehnel, the author of Fourteen Lines, is about teenager Jane and the trials and tribulations of completing a dreaded Term Paper. Performances will run March 1-3, 2019.
- Don’t Touch That Dial: A 1938 radio hour live on stage! Featuring The Adventures of Superman and War of the Worlds. Travel back in time to October 31, 1938 and witness what went on in the radio station that broadcast America’s greatest hero and the radio play that panicked a nation. Performances will run May 3-5, 2019.
Tickets will be available at the RMHS Box Office and via Ticketstage.com about one month prior to each opening performance.
“We can’t wait to start this season, We have something for everyone to enjoy,” said Natalie Cuhna, director of the RMHS Drama program. “These four shows offer plenty of variety and new opportunities and challenges for our kids. As an educational program, our goal is for both our students and our community to benefit from a rich variety of storytelling – we can’t wait to share each of these performances. This is a season not to miss.”
